VetLink is so much more than a business to me. It’s personal.

Her background
I grew up surrounded by military service. Both of my grandfathers served our country with incredible honor, one as a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps who earned two Purple Hearts, and the other as a Navy Lieutenant Commander and fighter pilot who completed four tours in Vietnam. My father was also a veteran, and military service has always been deeply rooted in my family. But it wasn't until I watched my dad struggle with his health and navigate the VA system that I truly understood the challenges so many veterans face. In 2023, my father passed away from liver cancer after years of unknowingly living with Hepatitis C. Just three weeks before he died, he received a denial letter for his VA disability claim. He never got the chance to appeal. After his passing, my stepmother was left with mounting bills and just $3,000 to her name. I stepped in to help, but I couldn't stop thinking about how different things might have been if my dad had received the benefits and support he deserved.
That's why VetLink is so much more than a business to me. It's personal. I know firsthand that VA disability benefits aren't just about a rating or a monthly check. They're about financial security, peace of mind, and protecting the families who stand behind our veterans. I once dreamed of serving in the military myself and even began the enlistment process, but life took me down a different path. Today, I believe I've found my own way to serve. Through VetLink, I have the opportunity to help veterans understand their benefits, navigate a complicated process, and speak up for themselves so they don't have to face it alone. I can't change what happened to my dad, but I can honor him, my grandfathers, and every veteran who has sacrificed for our country by making a difference in the lives of others. This is my purpose. This is my why. And this is how I serve.
Topics she covers
VA disability claim preparation support, C&P exam preparation, decision letters and review options, and state veteran benefits.
VetLink provides education and preparation support, not legal or medical advice. The VA determines claim outcomes.
